Enterprises must implement the right governance model to mitigate risk and maximize business performance.
Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) May 30, 2012
Service-oriented architecture (SOA) governance allows businesses to effectively manage the consistency, predictability, change and interdependencies of services. However, complex IT scenarios with interactions spanning heterogeneous systems can increase the risk and uncertainty of deployed services. As a result, enterprises must implement the right governance model to mitigate risk and maximize business performance. To facilitate this effort, WSO2 will present a free webinar on how developers can customize their governance model using the WSO2 Governance Registry.
The one-hour technical session, “WSO2 Intro Webinar: WSO2 Governance Registry – Customizing Governance for Your Needs," is being held twice on Thursday, June 6: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. PDT for the Americas and 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. GMT for Europe and Asia-Pacific. Customizing the Governance Model
The webinar will examine common governance challenges and how the WSO2 Governance Registry can assist developers in overcoming them. It also will review how the architecture and key features of the WSO2 Governance Registry provide an “out of the box” governance model with a highly extensible framework that can be customized to support business-specific requirements. Additionally, the session will present use cases for modeling, managing and monitoring people, processes and policies. These include support for SOA governance, configuration governance, development process governance, design and run-time governance, lifecycle management and team collaboration.
The webinar will be presented by Senaka Fernando, WSO2 technical lead and a member of the WSO2 integration technologies management committee. Senaka focuses on the WSO2 Governance Registry and WSO2 Cloud Services Gateway. He also has provided technology consulting on customer engagements, helping to successfully implement governance, enterprise application integration, SAP integration, and on-premise portal solutions. Additionally, Senaka founded the WSO2 Web Services Framework/C++.
