United offers accredited, innovative graduate and non-degree education programs for both clergy and laity

United Theological Seminary will host its 138th Commencement service on Saturday, June 2, at 1:30 p.m. at Precious Blood Catholic Church, 4961 Salem Avenue Dayton, OH 45416. Thirty-four master’s degrees, 21 doctoral degrees and one certificate will be awarded.

The service will be livestreamed at the time of the service or you may view the service at the same address following its completion.

Bishop George Bashore, retired United Methodist Bishop, and current chair of United’s Board of Trustees, will be the featured speaker. In retirement, Bishop Bashore also serves as Bishop-in-Residents at Mt. Lebanon Church, Mt. Lebanon, PA and is a member of the executive committee of the Religious Alliance Against Pornography.

United Theological Seminary, now in its 142nd year, is one of the fastest growing theological schools in the United States. It was founded in 1871 by Milton Wright, a Bishop in The United Brethren Church and father of Wilbur, Orville and Katherine Wright. United offers accredited, innovative graduate and non-degree education programs for both clergy and laity.
