We wanted to offer materials so that new Page admins could learn the ins and outs of Page management and familiarize themselves with Facebook.

ShortStack, a self-service custom Facebook application platform, has announced ShortStack University - a free, authoritative online video guide that explores Facebook Page features and functions.

ShortStack University is a beginner’s guide to Facebook Pages. The university covers a variety of Page-related topics with Facebook-centered curriculum. Topics will include creating a Page, social plugins, status updates, Facebook ads, promotion guidelines, EdgeRank and many more.

“We were seeing a lot of potential clients who wanted to use ShortStack but didn’t really know a ton about Facebook Pages in general,” Jim Belosic, CEO of ShortStack said. “We wanted to offer materials so that new Page admins could learn the ins and outs of Page management and familiarize themselves with Facebook. When they’re ready to move to the next level, they’ll be more prepared to run a third-party application like ShortStack to build custom Facebook tabs.

ShortStack University will be held through the ShortStack University YouTube channel, with new videos posted weekly. Visitors have the ability to watch and learn at their own pace and view videos as often as they’d like. The videos are completely free and available to anyone who wants to learn - even if they don’t have a ShortStack account.
