The Jared Company, a leading smartphone app developer, has released an update of its free Screen Grabber app for BlackBerry®, the only free screen capture app on the market to operate free of watermarks, advertising and upgrade reminders.

The Screen Grabber update adds Twitter and Facebook to the app’s screenshot-sharing feature, which also includes email and BBM™. Screen Grabber reduces file size for quick sending, and it allows users to opt for high-resolution screen shots.

The Jared Company founder and CEO Steven Kader said that Screen Grabber was designed as a totally flexible, simple app that captures screen shots with one click.

“We’ve made it easy for sending screenshots and saving them for easy retrieval when needed,” he said. “It’s now the best screen capture app on the market for the BlackBerry.”

Screen Grabber allows the user to take a screenshot of any screen and saves it automatically. The app offers the option of storing screen captures in a picture folder or Screen Grabber folder, organizing them in an “at-a-glance” format.

BlackBerry users can install the update by clicking on a link on The Jared Company website, http://www.jaredcompany.com.
