State-of-the-art site provides interactive technical tools and reference materials

Albina Pipe Bending, located outside Portland, Oregon, has been providing customers with innovative, quality products since 1939. Over the past seven decades, Albina Pipe Bending has mastered the craft of bending steel. Albina can produce virtually any metal component that needs to bend or curve and has an impeccable reputation in the steel bending and fabrication industry, for producing difficult and unusual parts. In recent news, Albina Pipe Bending released a state-of-the art website at http://www.albinapipebending.com that provides fabricators, architects, engineers and many more with vast interactive technical tools and reference material to assist with all of their bending calculations and provide answers to their technical questions.

Albina Pipe Bending’s custom designed bending calculators can be found at http://www.albinapipebending.com/tech_tool_box. The general bending calculators were designed to assist customers with required bending calculations, and to provide bending tolerances and tangent material requirements needed to accurately bid a job.

In addition to the general bending calculators, Albina designed a Spiral Math Calculator to allow customers to enter known data for spiral stringers, automatically calculate Degree of Pitch and Arc Length, and save the calculated information in their files for future reference or submit a report directly to Albina Pipe Bending for bid! It is that simple.

Additional highlights include an extensive Material Reference Library, Technical Articles, Brochures, and numerous work examples including professional photographs of installed projects and videos of actual bending processes.

“The driving force behind releasing a new website was to provide our customers and the entire steel industry as a whole, the educational materials highlighting the advantages of used Curved Steel for projects and the technology to assist end users in bidding jobs and in understanding the information that is required for a curved steel project.” –Brian Smith, President Albina Pipe Bending Co., Inc.

In addition to the launch of the new website, more information about Albina Pipe Bending and the new, innovative, challenging projects that we work on can be obtained on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/albinapipe) or Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/albinapipe).
