The concept was to combine the high-fashion style of a Versace Boutique, the technology of an Apple Store and the detailed jewelry display of Tiffany into one.

Retail Environments Magazine features advances in the retail world, from trends in design and marketing to the latest retail projects, informing those in the retail industry of the best choices in modern and environmentally friendly design.

“We were already proud of this gorgeous new store,” said Jennifer London of the Diamond Nexus marketing department. “The fact that Retail Environments picked up on our amazing modern design and decided to feature us on there cover it is a real feather in our cap.”

The new Diamond Nexus retail boutique in Schaumburg, IL at the Woodfield Mall is a “next generation” jewelry store that creates a sleek, contemporary environment of space, light, and luxury within the confines of a 1,200 square foot store space.

“We had a unique design vision for the space” says Gary LaCourt, CEO. “The concept was to combine the high-fashion style of a Versace Boutique, the technology of an Apple Store and the detailed jewelry display of Tiffany into one.”

The Diamond Nexus Boutique at Woodfield Mall features a monochromatic design of black, white and chrome. “All the color in the store comes from the jewelry itself and from the art displays on the wall” said Brianne Smith, Diamond Nexus District Manager.

The store is brilliantly lit with custom direct, indirect and dimensional lighting fabricated of glass, resin and chrome. The signature centerpiece chandelier was designed by high-end designers and official crown-makers of the Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants, Diamond Nexus.

“Though there are over 1000 individual light bulbs and light sources in the space, the actual power draw is significantly less then most similarly sized stores due to the companies decision to utilize mostly LED lighting” said Michael Aiello, lead architect. “This decision was made due to the company’s ongoing commitment to green technology.”

“The store features many high technology features such as plasma screen displays, it’s truly like no other jewelry store.” Aiello continued.
