AdvantaFran Franchise Consulting Invites Franchisors to Form Their Own Broker Group

John Power, General Manager of AdvantaFran Franchise Consulting, announced today the formation of a franchisor managed broker group: the FranGOLD Franchise Network, inviting franchise companies to “Form Their Own Broker Group.” This unique opportunity for franchisors offers a low cost to join, guaranteed marketing expenditures, and exclusivity.

Mr. Power said, “Franchisors are looking for lower-cost ways to increase their flow of qualified leads. Sometimes the cost of joining and participating in a broker group can be very high. There is no need for the franchisor to give up most, or all, of the initial franchise fee. We work on a fee structure that is reasonable and modest. Response has been very positive, and a number of franchisors have already joined.”

The FranGOLD Franchise Network provides an increase in qualified leads, direct contact with brokers, exclusivity for the franchisor, and the opportunity for participating franchisors to have a say in how the group is managed. “They can give feedback on how we spend our money to generate the leads for them,” Mr. Power explained. FranGOLD, while owned by AdvantaFran Franchise Consulting, will operate similar to a marketing co-op, for the benefit of participating franchise companies.

A special benefit to franchisors is a guaranteed marketing budget for franchisors. Each FranGOLD broker is required to set a marketing budget, which is spent on behalf of all franchisors in the group. The cumulative annual marketing expenditures for each franchisor may equal several times the actual cost of participating in the group. This is a powerful tool to develop new leads, which the FranGOLD brokers will process and then forward those who are qualified.

Also very unique, is the provision for franchisor exclusivity. Frequently, when joining a broker group, franchisors face direct competitors who are well established and entrenched in the group. Only one franchise offering in each type of franchise will be accepted into the FranGOLD Network. The brokers will be working with a limited number of franchise concepts, without direct competition.
