Stormpath, an emerging leader in cloud-based identity and access management, has been selected one of only eleven startups chosen by GigaOm as a finalist in the Structure Launchpad competition. The final round of the competition will take place on June 20th, as part of Structure conference in San Francisco. Launchpad is the preeminent competition for innovative and successful new companies in cloud technology.
"Dozens of cloud startups applied to Structure LaunchPad, but the 11 finalists stood head and shoulders above the rest for their innovative ideas, forward-thinking business models and cutting-edge technologies," said Stacey Higginbotham, Structure chair and senior writer for GigaOM. "Chosen after a rigorous review process, these companies are forging new ground when it comes to advancing cloud computing."
Stormpath CEO and co-founder, Alex Salazar, will demonstrate Stormpath’s early traction, launch the company’s public beta, and share the explosion of growth in the Apache Shiro project, a leading java security framework that Stormpath supports.
“Our goal is to make it easy for any developer to enable best-in-class identity and security in any application,” said Alex Salazar, Stormpath CEO and Co-founder. “Advances in cloud computing are changing SaaS business models, giving developers flexibility and security with abstracted architectures. Stormpath offers best-in-class identity and access management in less time than it takes to make coffee. We’re excited to be leading the charge, and look forward to sharing our story at Structure.”
