Predictive Solutions Corporation announced today that Chuck Pettinger, Ph.D., member of Predictive Solutions’ Process & Technology Services Team, will speak at the ASSE Professional Development Conference & Exposition, as part of the Safety 2012 Expo.
On Wednesday, June 6 at 7:45am – 9:00am MDT, Pettinger will present a session, entitled “Predicting & Preventing: Using Leading Indicators to Assess Safety Performance.” In it, he will review common struggles companies face in gathering true leading indicators from their worksite inspections. Pettinger will also review a case study and statistical research on over 120 million observations that will help attendees to assess their safety culture and potentially predict their next worksite incident.
Pettinger earned his doctorate in psychology from Virginia Tech with an emphasis in Industrial Organizational Psychology. For 20 years, Chuck has consulted with organizations from around the world, guiding them in their transformation to create a step-change in their safety cultures and helping them to reduce injuries and fatalities in their workplaces.
The Safety 2012 Expo will take place June 3-5 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Co. Predictive Solutions will participate in the expo at booth #639, in addition to Industrial Scientific Corporation, Predictive Solutions’ parent company, who will exhibit at booth #623.
