“Anything that can help update their facilities, we want them to feel good about their school. This is a golden opportunity.”

Teachers and staff at Tusky Valley High School will return from their summer vacations to a new and improved place to relax between classes. Kelly Gulling, a Chemistry and Physics teacher at the high school, was recently selected as the big winner of California Casualty’s School Lounge Makeover giveaway.

Gulling and the rest of the Tusky Valley teaching team will celebrate their big win on Tuesday during their annual end-of-the-year staff picnic. Tusky Valley principal, Susan Huth, says it’s a prize her staff deserves.

“I have a phenomenal teaching team,” says Huth. “Anything that can help update their facilities, we want them to feel good about their school. This is a golden opportunity.”
As for Gulling, she will be hearing about her big win for her fellow educators for the first time on Tuesday.

“Kelly is a forward thinker,” says Huth. “She has great leadership qualities and is a team player, and is respected by the staff and students.”

As a part of the giveaway, Tusky Valley educators will have the chance to work with designers to makeover their school lounge to better fit their needs. The $7500 makeover is scheduled to be complete in August, just in time for Tusky Valley to open their doors for a new school year.

To enter the next "School Lounge Makeover" sweepstakes, qualified teachers can simply visit http://www.SchoolLoungeMakeover.com before July 31, 2012. No purchase is required.
