Friends of the Waterford School recently participated in the eighteenth annual Waterford Golf Classic at The Golf Course at Thanksgiving Point, raising more than $20,000 for the school's programs. The event was kicked off with a golf clinic led by Mike Weir, event host, and winner of the 2003 Masters Tournament. Thirty teams with seventeen sponsors competed on the course in a four-team scramble format. The event's title sponsor was Uinta Golf.

"It was a beautiful day for golf, and great to know that the proceeds would benefit Waterford," said Dave Rees, event sponsor and Waterford parent. "I particularly enjoyed Mike Weir's golf clinic."

The Waterford School is a private liberal arts, college-preparatory school located in Sandy, Utah, for students in preschool through grade 12. For more information about the Waterford School visit http://www.waterfordschool.org.
