CarteNav continues to work closely with the Operator community to make sure we get things right.

CarteNav Solutions Inc., the developers of the innovative intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) solution AIMS-ISR®, are attending CANSEC 2012 to demonstrate AIMS-HD, the latest edition to the AIMS Family of Products.

AIMS-HD enables EO/IR sensor Operators to view live HD video feeds next to an elevation corrected camera boresight and footprint, rendered on CarteNav’s powerful user-customizable moving map display (MMD).

In addition to EO/IR camera data, AIMS-HD is capable of displaying AIS and TTM radar tracks, as well as an array of situational mission data, such as way-points, routes, street address data, and graphical vector overlays.

CarteNav’s attendance at CANSEC 2012 underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to providing capable, cost effective surveillance solutions to the Government of Canada. The event also marks a major milestone for the Halifax-based company which is fast approaching ten years of operation.

“We have more than nine years of operational experience with AIMS-ISR® and CarteNav continues to work closely with the Operator community to make sure we get things right. The insight we’ve gained through working with our AIMS-ISR® customers allows us to drive the best set of surveillance features into AIMS-HD,” says Scott Richardson, CarteNav's VP Product Development.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to demonstrate AIMS-HD at CANSEC. This product is intuitive, competitively priced, and born of thousands of hours of operational testing and development," he says.

Since its humble beginnings in 2002, the Halifax based company has seen its fair share of growth, including that well beyond the Canadian Market. CarteNav’s software solutions are deployed on variety of surveillance platforms around the world, operated by nations such as Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, France, and the United Kingdom.

In addition to Airborne ISR, CarteNav is strengthening its technology roadmap to ensure both AIMS-ISR® and AIMS-HD secure full entry into the naval, persistent surveillance, law enforcement, and ground-based reconnaissance markets - all expected to experience significant growth in the coming years.

Whether it’s a maritime patrol aircraft, airborne law enforcement helicopter, fixed-wing search and rescue platform, or armored reconnaissance vehicle - CarteNav’s software solutions provide sensor operators with unequalled sensor control and situational awareness.
