Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) May 31, 2012
May 19th-22nd 2012 in Phoenix, AZ, gMed attended SGNA, the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates annual meeting. SGNA is the largest forum for Gastroenterology nurses in the United States.
Exhibiting at the show for the first time, gMed’s Endoscopy Report Writer drew considerable interest from the SGNA nurses. Attendees were interested to learn about the upcoming Meaningful Use requirements for endoscopy centers, and pleased to discover that gGastro actually simplifies the entire HITECH process.
Among the hot topics were the AGA and GIQuIC registries. gMed sales representatives were able to demonstrate to nurses how easy it is to upload information from gGastro without interrupting their fast paced workflow. This is due to the seamless integration gGastro has with the registries.
Also trending at SGNA, gGastro’s Nursing Notes with its featured new module, the Vital Signs Monitor Interface. Nurses were impressed with the gGastro solution enabling them to get rid of all paper documentation and allowing surgery centers to truly become one hundred percent paperless.
On the whole, SGNA offered gMed a chance to communicate directly with some of the most prized Gastroenterology professionals in the industry. With such a friendly atmosphere and great turn out of nurses, gMed is already excited to exhibit at SGNA in 2013.
