Fuchsia Spa

We are an everyday spa for the every day girl, and our new location and services menu truly brings that motto to life.

Fuchsia Spa, a full-service day spa in Arizona, opened a new, larger location and expanded its services to include a blow dry bar, a couple’s massage suite and custom airbrush tanning.

Fuchsia Spa, one of Arizona’s most affordable full-service day spas, offers membership packages that are only $59 and includes a custom facial or massage each month. The spa’s owners, Lisa Vukonich and Erin Owens, wanted to create an “everyday spa for the everyday girl,” with a welcoming, relaxing and non pretentious environment. Vukonich and Owens saw an opportunity to offer luxury services to Arizona residents at an affordable price, with the belief that “pinching pennies” in a tight economy doesn’t mean sacrificing specialty treatments.

Fuchsia Spa is now the premiere blow dry bar destination for Arizona’s East Valley residents; previously all Arizona blow dry bars were located in the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley area.
Along with the blow dry bar, the new 4,000 square foot space can now service more clients and accommodate large groups, such as wedding and birthday parties, with multiple manicure and pedicure stations, additional treatment rooms and a larger relaxation space.

“We are thrilled that our dream of expanding Fuchsia is happening,” said Lisa Vukonich, Fuchsia co-owner. “We have personally invested $300,000 into the space and the expansion of services and we can’t wait to open our doors and unveil our new services. We are an everyday spa for the every day girl, and our new location and services menu truly brings that motto to life.”

Since opening Fuchsia in 2007, Vukonich and Owens have grown the business to achieve an average of $1 million in sales per year. With the additional space and services, they anticipate a 100% growth in sales by the end of the first year – to $2 million.

“It’s a big investment to make this expansion happen, but we know that it’s well worth it,” said Erin Owens, Fuchsia co-owner. “We opened the business and thrived during one of the worst economic downturns. We have built an extremely loyal customer base and we are excited to provide these new services to our customers.”

Fuchsia Spa is currently working on franchising Fuchsia Spa throughout Arizona.
