Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2012
Homeboy Industries and Social Enterprise Clothing are pleased to announce a new partnership between Homeboy Industries (HBI) led by Father Gregory Boyle and Social Enterprise Clothing (SEC) founded by Joe Seager & Christian Hart. SEC features two brand lines of clothing, NewWay and Second Chance. The partnership will provide a NewWay to generate a revenue stream for HBI’s mission to offer more people a Second Chance at a new life.
The partnership between Homeboy Industries and SEC will bring a NewWay of using Capitalism (SEC) to help a Non-Profit (HBI) help Society by working with people ready for a Second Chance at life. This movement is called Social Capitalism. Social Enterprise Clothing (SEC) will donate 30% of all On-Line clothing sales back to Homeboy Industries, and commits to hiring graduates of the HBI program as current and future SEC staff.
The more sales SEC generates from it’s website, the more money that is donated to HBI; the more money donated to HBI, the more Society benefits; the more Society benefits, the more Society buys from SEC, and the Movement begins. Be one of the first to join the Movement by joining our mailing list. Social Enterprise Clothing is committed to “Changing the World, one shirt at a time” ©
Three days until the Movement is born. Three days for a NewWay to offer more people a Second Chance. The countdown begins.
