Haute Living is pleased to announce the winners of the Second Round of Hotel Madness. Voting for the next round opened today and will continue for five days (Ends Midnight, June 5th). The four hotels that will advance to the third round in each market are:
New York: Mandarin Oriental, The Waldorf-Astoria, The Four Seasons New York, The St. Regis New York
Los Angeles: Montage Beverly Hills, Montage Laguna Beach, Terranea Resort, The Four Seasons Los Angeles
Miami: W South Beach, Acqualina, The Setai, Mondrian South Beach
San Francisco: Mandarin Oriental, Auberge du Soleil, Pebble Beach Resort, The St. Regis San Francisco
The five-week March madness-inspired tournament began May 17 with a list of the 32 best hotels in New York, Miami, Los Angeles and San Francisco chosen by Haute Living curators. The hotels have been competing against one another—with 4 pairs of hotels, 8 hotels, going head to head last week for readers to vote for their preference within each faceoff. The 4 hotels with the most votes within each pair will now advance to the next round. Round 3 voting begins at midnight tonight at http://www.hauteliving.com/hotel/
Ultimately, after the five-week period, voters comprised of Haute Living’s readers and hotel patrons who want to support their favorite spots, will determine who will be named the champion of Haute Living Hotel Madness by way of a traditional tournament bracket.
