Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 31, 2012
Denver-based yoga clothing company, be present, will be the presenting sponsor for the 2012 Denver and Boulder seasons of Yoga Rocks the Park. The company has also signed on to support recently launched markets in Phoenix and Omaha. be present has supported the event since its first season, launched in Denver, 2008.
As a Colorado company, be present has long been involved in its local yoga community and strives to expand its involvement by partnering with like-minded organizations, such as Yoga Rocks the Park. This year is no different, and as YRTP has expanded, so too has be present’s involvement.
The 2012 season finds be present as the presenting sponsor in both the Denver and Boulder markets. In addition, YRTP has expanded to bring the event to Phoenix and Omaha where be present is also a featured sponsor. “It is important for us to be as involved as we can in bringing yoga into our local community. We’ve stood behind [YRTP Event Director] Erik [Vienneau] since he first had the vision for Yoga Rocks the Park. It’s a no-brainer for us to grow along with event as it makes its way into other cities,” says be present Director of Marketing, Maggie Mistovich.
Event Director Erik Vienneau has exercised his vision to bring yoga into local communities by growing the event to what it is today. Not only does YRTP bring the nation’s best instructors out, but it also donates 50% of profits to a different local charity each week. “Yoga Rocks the Park is really about so much more than yoga. It's filling a need for people that want to gather in community and see that we are all capable of co-creating the peace we want to see in the world,” says Vienneau.
