The creation of the Common Core Math App is one more step in showing our continuous support for educators as they begin to implement the CCSS in their districts.

As part of its mission to provide strong, ongoing support for educators, Kendall Hunt Publishing Company has announced the availability of a customizable app that can be used to facilitate implementation of the Common Core Standards for Mathematics (CCSS) in classrooms nationwide.
Available through Apple’s iTunes Store at no cost to users, the app can be downloaded to any Apple device, including iPads, iPhones, and iPod Touch models. It was developed as a tool that supports Kendall Hunt’s mathematics curriculum for grades 6-12, but can be used with any math program and at any grade level. The app was officially launched last month at the National Council of Mathematics Teachers annual conference in Philadelphia, PA.
The Kendall Hunt Common Core Math App allows educators to:
- Access CCSS content standards for grades K-12
- Capture student proficiency and teacher implementation data
- Create and compile data graphs per observation and over time
- Share observation data and provide e-mail feedback
“The creation of the Common Core Math App is one more step in showing our continuous support for educators as they begin to implement the CCSS in their districts,” said Tim Pope, Implementation Manager. “As a leading provider of digital curriculum, it made sense to use technology as a tool to put this critically important information right at educators’ fingertips.”
