Coinciding with the 12th annual Aid & International Development Forum (AIDF), the roundtable event is expected to yield tremendous participation from the stability operations community. The timing of this discussion is especially critical as conditions in north and east Africa continue to deteriorate. From famine to social unrest, these regions are in urgent need of peace and development efforts. However, as the stability industry strives to ameliorate these dire circumstances, the security of stability operations is regularly compromised due to insufficient insurance coverage.
