Gift of Sound Hearing Aid Mission to be Held at HHCANY Conference and Trade Show

Hearing HealthCare Alliance of New York (HHCANY) is partnering with Help America Hear (HAH) to provide hearing aids to 10 men, women and children with hearing loss that lack the financial resources to obtain them on their own.

On Saturday, June 9th, 2012 at 12:00pm the Foundation For Sight & Sound’s Help America Hear Program will be fitting up to 10 local area residents with hearing aids. This Gift of Sound Hearing Aid Mission will take place at the 2012 HHCANY Conference and Trade Show which is being held at the Saratoga Springs Hilton located at 534 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Toni Tiberi, David Beaulac, Linda Bailey and Fred Goossen from HHCANY will be assisting the Help America Hear Program in fitting the recipients.

The Foundation For Sight and Sound, a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit organization and their Help America Hear Program provides hearing aids to men, women and children with a moderate to profound hearing loss, that lack the financial resources to obtain them on their own.

The Help America Hear Program was created in January 2009 and has since fit over 275 people nationwide with high quality Resound hearing aids. With the minimum cost of a hearing aid averaging $2,000, many individuals are unable to afford this necessary tool for improving their quality of life.
