The Grant Professionals Association’s new e-newsletter provides a compilation of current and relevant articles that have proven to be helpful to those within the field. Articles vary in topics such as “Beyond need and merit: Strengthening state grant programs” from Brookings, and “Community Foundations Survey Highlights the Peaks and Valleys of 2011” by the Council on Foundations.
The e-newsletter has been well received by its multitude of viewers. Responses at the National Office have been overwhelmingly positive. One member, Denise Katula, a Grant Coordinator, states:
“I find Grant Industry News to deliver useful information in a way I can keep up with. As a busy professional, receiving a weekly e-mail brief which presents a variety of information relating to the diverse field of grants helps me stay on top of news and trends. Each issue has at least an article or two that is useful to me."
This weekly e-newsletter is completely free to receive for both members of GPA and nonmembers. To subscribe, please visit http://www.multibriefs.com/optin.php?gpa.
