Invibio® Biomaterial Solutions, the world leader in PEEK-based polymers, announced its record number of submissions to the 9th World Biomaterials Congress (WBC) forum, which focus on the recent developments in PEEK-OPTIMA® technologies within a range of medical application areas.

Taking place on June 1st through to June 5th in Chengdu, China, WBC’s theme is centred on “Innovative Biomaterials and Crossing Frontiers in Biomaterials and Regenerative Medicine." With international attendance from scientists, clinicians, researchers and industry professionals, WBC is set to again be a prestigious event in the scientific calendar. Additionally Invibio is hosting a lunchtime presentation session on “Implanted PEEK Polymer in Spinal and Orthopaedic Devices: Approaches to Enhance Biomaterial Interaction,” on Monday 4th June.
