Lawn Mower Racers from Across America Mow ‘Em Down in East Tennessee at 4th Stop on 20th Anniversary STA-BIL Lawn & Garden Racing Series with Sod Slinging Double Header Race Day

The East Tennessee Lawn Mower Racing Association will host the STA-BIL Volunteer Spring Nationals.

The 4th stop on the 20th Anniversary STA-BIL Lawn & Garden Mower Racing Series is set for Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Englewood, Tennessee at the Home Track of the East Tennessee Lawn Mower Racing Association (ETLMRA), for a sod slinging double header race day.

STA-BIL® Fuel Stabilizer and the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA) will present the STA-BIL Volunteer Spring Nationals at the Englewood Lions Club Mowerplex, 2240 Highway 411 N, Etowah (Englewood), TN, for two races, Saturday, June 9, 2012, 11:00am and 4:00pm. Spectator admission is $5.00 for adults, with children 12 and under free. The event is held in conjunction with the Englewood Lions Club. The race is sanctioned by the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association (USLMRA), the nation’s oldest and largest national lawn mower racing sanctioning body.

“We’ll be stomping sod and kickin’ grass,” said ETLMRA President Rodney Peeler, who also serves as a National Chief Race Steward. “This is our seventh year racing in Englewood and our track has become a racer favorite. We expect a big crowd of weekend warriors from across the Southeast. The mow the merrier.”
