Known as a hard-hitting, no-holds-barred communicator, Pastor Ed Young isn’t afraid to take on the most controversial topics. His newest series is no exception.

This weekend, the pastor is beginning a series entitled “Cool Aid,” where he will address topics such as gay marriage, vulgarity in today’s world, and bullying.

Young says, “We’ve heard everyone else in the world tell us their opinions on these topics – everyone from Hollywood to Washington. It’s time the church stands up and says, ‘This is what God says about it all.’ The reality is, God’s opinion is the only one that matters, because it’s the only one that is Truth. And it’s the only one that will help us get a handle on everything that is going on.”

Kicking off the series on June 2/3 with a message about gay marriage, Ed doesn’t plan on watering down the message. Rather, he is is expecting the topic, and the series, to ‘stir up’ conversation in the community.

“We want people to know what God says, and we welcome everyone to be here to hear it. We’re going to share the truth. And if we need to stir up the Kool Aid® a little, then that’s what we’re going to do.”
