26 Center Console
24 Center Console
OBX Boatworks launched with the 32 Express at the Miami show and the reception to the 32 Express was excellent. The 32 is a perfect family weekender and a great fishing boat and has been a successful launch for OBX. The 32 factory demonstrator has been actively fishing tournaments around south Florida and will be heading north to fish tournaments in North Carolina this summer. The 32’ Express will be expanded into another new model, the 32 Walkaround. This model is designed for the hardcore fishing crowd and will feature a comfortable cabin with a berths for 2, a compact galley and full size head and should be ready for a late 2012 debut and delivery.
At the fall shows, customers were asking for a larger model that could be used for extended cruising and offshore fishing as well as smaller trailerable center consoles. Based on the demand, OBX is going forward with two new 38’ models and a 26’ and 24’ Center Console. These new models should be ready for launch in Spring 2013.
The 38 Walkaround and 38 Express will be offshore fishing machines with the creature comforts of a cruising yacht. They will blend the best of both worlds in an easily managed package. The craftsmanship that was shown on the 32 Express, set OBX apart from the competition at the 2012 boat shows and the 38 will take this quality to a new level. The cabin will be yacht quality and innovative. The new 32 Walkaround will be a center console Hybrid that will feature a compact cabin and head but retain all the fishability of a center console. The 26 and 24 center consoles will round out our line and offer customers the big boat feel of an OBX in a smaller package. A 29’ model is in the plans for the future as well as larger flybridge models in the 40-50’ range.
