Attain Fertility Centers Confirms Partnership Talks With South Carolina’s Coastal Fertility Specialists

Attain Fertility® Centers, a division of IntegraMed® America, Inc., clarified today that it is in advanced discussions with Coastal Fertility Specialists of South Carolina regarding their joining the Attain Fertility Centers network as a partner practice, with Attain managing Coastal’s fertility clinic operations. A news release distributed yesterday by Attain erroneously characterized the agreement as having been completed, whereas the negotiations and due diligence are still progressing. Attain would plan to make a formal announcement if and when a final agreement is reached.

Both companies confirmed that their partnership discussions continue and that they expect to conclude an agreement in the near term, however there can be no guarantee that an agreement will be consummated.

Recently formed by Dr. John Schnorr and Dr. Michael Slowey, Coastal Fertility Specialists has 3 South Carolina fertility clinic locations in Mt. Pleasant, Columbia and Myrtle Beach. Drs. Schnoor and Slowey had worked with Attain in the past and enjoyed a solid relationship.
