The Visual Communications Industry Group (VCI-Group), the knowledge-sharing user community that influences the Visual Communications Industry, today announced a low cost Emerging Companies Membership that becomes effective during InfoComm 2012. This special membership is especially designed for new companies that would like to engage and inform the VCI-Group’s more than 425 members about their new products and services. “One of our goals is to keep our user members up to date and informed about new products and services available in the visual communications and collaboration marketplace,” Said Stephen Demmings, President of the VCI-Group. “And we also want to make it easier and automatic that new companies with new products reach out to our membership first with their leading edge solutions.”
The VCI-Group will unveil the Emerging Company Membership at Infocomm 2012, June 9-15th at the Las Vegas Convention Center. However, this new membership is reported to offer very low cost membership fees for new young companies, and delivers a series of tools that enables growing young visual communications companies to connect with the VCI-Group’s 425 plus end users that are made up of colleges and universities, government organizations, health care and Fortune 1000 enterprises.
J D Vaughn, Advisory Board Chair for the VCI-Group and a former startup sales and marketing executive at PictureTel, Polycom, Accord Networks and Radvision, said, “This is just what a young technology company needs to launch new products and services: Access to a large group of end users that will embrace a high quality leading edge new product or service that addresses the contemporary issues facing the visual communications industry and users. This new Emerging Companies membership will also provide low cost exhibit space at our annual conference and the opportunity for Emerging Company members to position and present their solutions during our regular VCI-Group Spotlight broadcasts to end user members. Details of the program will be available at our booth at InfoComm 2012.”
