Servient, a leader in Predictive Review technology for e-discovery, has announced the release of version 4.4 of its E-Discovery Platform. Servient combines advanced machine learning with workflow automation to substantially reduce the cost of legal review.
Version 4.4 continues to simplify implementation of the Predictive Review process. The latest version incorporates the Servient Sample Calculator throughout the application allowing the legal team to utilize defensible statistical sampling in each phase of the process.
“Statistical measurement of the effectiveness of the predictive technology and process is a primary focus of Servient,” said Jim Renehan, Servient’s VP of Business Development. The integrated calculation of sample size by the Servient Sample Calculator enables the user to identify appropriate number of samples by specifying required confidence level, error rate and proportion positive with Bayesian inference. Servient’s graphical interface displays the progress of the statistical sampling in “real-time” for the legal team. “The integration of sampling tools makes the process of validation easy and transparent for the user,” added Renehan.
Servient has also upgraded its Briefcase functionality. Customers can package a set of documents into a digital briefcase and conveniently access the selected documents locally to produce or print the documents. Servient’s CEO, Ian Wilson stated “Clients are starting to understand the powerful cost savings available by accessing predictive coding technology in a cloud environment. Servient’s clear path is to continue to smooth the way for the market adoption of its cloud model by increasing the flexibility of options available to our clients to access and manage their data.”
Release 4.4 is immediately available to Servient’s current clients and information to request a demonstration can be found at http://www.servient.com.
