In response to the rapid increase in smartphone use, PrimaCare Medical Centers have partnered with iTriage® – a one-stop healthcare app that lets users research symptoms and conditions, and locate the closest medical facilities, directly from a smartphone or computer.

“Today’s consumers rely on their phones 24/7 for information,” said Jennifer Stephenson, Executive Director, PrimaCare Medical Centers. “Most minor injuries and illnesses are unexpected, and iTriage allows us to connect with people when they quickly need access to medical information and services.”

Adopting the iTriage mobile app allows PrimaCare Medical Centers to provide those in the Dallas metroplex with critical facility information like services provided, conditions treated, hours of operation and GPS based directions. iTriage also lets users search from a nationwide list of medical providers from any location in the country.

“iTriage gives healthcare facilities a way to leverage mobile devices and wireless networks to provide better care for patients, and puts actionable health care information into the hands of consumers, including facility mapping, so they can easily obtain treatment,” said Peter Hudson, M.D. and co-founder of iTriage.

iTriage is available as a free download from app stores for iPhone® and Android™ mobile devices, and is accessible from any Web-enabled device at
