Flexible circuit pioneer Metrigraphics LLC will present a brief on “The Challenges of Fabricating Micro Precision Flex Circuits for Medical Applications” June 19 at the Medical Design & Manufacturing Show in Chicago. The briefing will be held in the Innovation “Theater” at booth 1341 and presented at 12:30.
The brief will cover:
“We’re excited about the opportunity to present to peers and potential clients and get them to see the challenges that we mutually face,” said Metrigraphics President and CEO Randolph Sablich, who will lead the June 19 presentation. “In working with medical device OEMs, there are significant issues that require both organizations to work closely together to be successful and deliver the needed micro product.”
He said an important point of the brief will be the need to involve flexible circuit manufacturers early in the design phase to ensure that the device leverages all the advantages provided by the micro precision flex circuit process.
For the past 20 years, Metrigraphics has been a leading manufacturer of specialty flex circuits for a wide range of applications. Working closely with its customers, the Wilmington-based company creates custom precision micro circuits with features ranging in size from 2-10 microns and up to 6 metal layers with a variety of dielectrics.
