Lansing, MI (PRWEB) June 07, 2012
Mitt Romney’s total market share increased by .47% and he carries 20.45% of the total internet market share. Barack Obama is still in control of the larger portion of the internet market share with 79.55%. The past two weeks have shown increases in market share for Mitt Romney; a trend that needs to continue if Romney wants to have a shot in November against Obama.
Mitt Romney officially gained the Republican nomination last Tuesday and his position on the SIPP Index during the primaries predicted his win. Mitt Romney’s internet market share throughout the Primary process was at a steady incline. He eventually obtained the majority and never relinquished it, winning the nomination.
Mitt’s success in the 2012 Primary election process was predicted by the SIPP Index and it was not the first time the SIPP Index had been used in predicting the winner of an election. Spartan Internet Consulting, internet marking firm, first used the SIPP Index in the 2008 presidential election process and accurately predicted the winner Barack Obama. He held a substantial lead throughout the 2008 debates on the SIPP and carried his lead through to the presidency.
This week’s results can be found at:
Spartan Internet has leveraged its web expertise to objectively develop the SIPP Index to quantify 650 relevant factors into a single representative score for each candidate’s overall internet market share out of 100%. The 650 factors are derived from numeric values from across the Internet such as social networks, candidate websites, and blogs, news media and search engines. The resulting score is indicative of each candidates overall online ability to reach individuals and connect on key issues.
