HR Strategies, A Human Resource firm, kicks off Open Enrollment on June 15th, 2012. Open enrollment is the time when HR Strategies worksite employees have the opportunity to enroll in benefits or change their elections based on what best fits their current benefit needs.

HR Strategies has actively negotiated with Humana to contain benefit costs while continuing to offer excellent benefits and coverage levels to their clients and worksite employees.

HR Strategies is pleased to announce that they will continue to partner with Humana to offer medical, dental, and vision benefits. HR Strategies has actively negotiated with Humana to contain benefit costs while continuing to offer excellent benefits and coverage levels to their clients and worksite employees.

Renewal rates will be effective 09/01/2012-08/31/2013. HR Strategies clients will be receiving Open Enrollment letters containing their current medical rate sheets with an effective date of 09/01/2011; along with their renewal medical rate sheet which is effective 09/01/2012. Clients will also receive a Client Benefit Contribution Form, allowing clients to change the employer contribution amount or waiting period for their worksite employees, to be completed and returned to HR Strategies prior to June 15th. Additionally, HR Strategies is also pleased to offer several options for the Open Enrollment process this year; allowing clients the opportunity to select from Electronic Enrollment, Paper Enrollment, or On-Site Enrollment.

Another change in the Open Enrollment process for HR Strategies this year is Open Enrollment Dependent Eligibility Verification. In order to comply with plan eligibility requirements, HR Strategies will also begin requiring employee’s to provide proof of dependent eligibility for all additions to coverage during open enrollment. Documentation of proof of eligibility can be a copy of an employee’s tax return, a marriage certificate, a birth certificate, or adoption papers.
