Macadamian, a global leader in user experience design and software development, today announced that two of the company’s product design experts will be presenting sessions at upcoming industry events. Product Camp Boston, taking place Saturday June 9, is the premier conference for product managers and product marketers in the Boston area. MOSO is Canada’s mobile and social conference and will be held June 14-15 in Saskatoon.
At Product Camp Boston Macadamian Vice President of User Experience Scott Plewes will discuss User Centered Design (UCD), a product creation process that can overcome opinion-based decision-making to create consensus between product managers and executive teams. Jennifer Fraser, the company’s Director of Design will speak at MOSO about how to improve collaboration between software developers and designers to smooth the product creation process and maximize end results.
“Macadamian is successful because we perform business alchemy – bringing together user researchers, creative designers, software engineers and project managers all under one roof to create the “gold” of compelling software products,” said Scott Plewes. “We are always eager to share our best practices for employing world-class processes within each discipline, and share how to put in place connecting processes between disciplines that ensure product developers meet and exceed their users’ expectations.”
Later this summer Macadamian will also be speaking on advanced software design topics at Healthcare Unbound and UX Week in San Francisco.
