The Flag Company, Inc., the Southeast’s largest distributor of flagpoles and flags, is proud to announce that it has been named one of Cobb’s Top 25 Small Businesses of the Year by the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Businesses were nominated earlier this year, and after a review by an independent panel of judges, The Flag Company, Inc. was selected as one of the Top 25 companies. Candidates were evaluated based on the criteria published by the U.S. Small Business Administration. Those criteria include staying power, growth in number of employees, increase in sales or unit volume, current and past financial standing, innovative products and services, response to adversity, evidence of contributions to aid community projects and overall management philosophy.

The Flag Company, Inc. is the largest distributor of flagpoles in the Southeast. The company also sells flags and flag-related products through several online websites. Its patented Flagpole Beacon, an energy-efficient, low maintenance product that prevents light pollution and light trespass is now available in a solar version.

The Top 25 were recognized at the Cobb Chamber’s First Monday Breakfast on June 4.
