TNS Employee Insights, a global leader in survey research, consulting and technology, hosted a three-part series of webinars regarding the two proposed National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) rules that were scheduled to go into effect at the end of April. The two rules are known as the “notice posting rule” and the “expedited election rule.”
TNS would like to make a correction to a previous press release published on the most recent webinar that aired on May 17 and was titled, “New Federal Labor Rules Are Now in Effect: Are You Prepared or Vulnerable.” The press release incorrectly stated that the two new NLRB rules were in effect as of April 30. As presenters Michael Schroeder, organizational consultant and CEO of TNS Employee Insights, and Chris Johlie, labor law attorney at Franczek Radelet P.C., correctly explained during the presentation, the notice posting rule is on hold and is being reviewed by a federal court of appeals. The expedited election rule went into effect on April 30, but two weeks later was put on hold by a federal district court judge. As of today, neither rule is in effect. TNS will continue to monitor future developments regarding the rules and will provide updates as appropriate.
