Kingsport, TN (PRWEB) June 08, 2012

Appalachian GhostWalks and the Alternate Realities Center (ARC) are set to present the 2012 Prophecies and Predictions Conference this weekend at Warriors Path State Park. The event, which is free and open to the public, will be an informal gathering at the park and held just days before the Summer Solstice. This is almost exactly six months from the infamous date which ancients suggest could herald tremendous worldwide change.

Whether you're a past guest of Appalachian GhostWalks, or a Alternate Realities Center National UFO and Paranormal Conference veteran, everyone is invited to join the festivities from 1 to 4 PM this weekend. The gathering will take place on Saturday, June the 9th, 2012 at Warriors Path State Park, located in Kingsport, Tennessee under Pavillion #1.

One or perhaps two fascinating original presentations on ancient prophecies and predictions will offer a mix of history and Biblical comparisons to the ideas presented by ancient cultures from around the world. These, combined with a unique amount of modern science will help to bring into focus much of what early civilizations, as well as the Bible, have foretold as these writings pertain to events from the modern era.

Are the coming changes predicted by Nostrodomus, Billy Meyer, Biblical prophets of old, Native American Tribes, and others, changes to the world itself, or to each individual on a specific and perhaps spiritual level of existence? No one seems to know for sure, but the subject has sparked tremendous controversy as well as differing opinions for many years. The 2012 Prophecies and Predictions Conference is poised to provide an afternoon forum where friends and neighbors may gather to enjoy an exchange of ideas and enjoy positive and open discussions on this intriguing topic.

The 2012 Prophecies and Predictions Conference is the Alternate Realities Center's 11th Annual National UFO Paranormal Conference type gathering since its founding in February of 1994. Previous Conferences have been held at David Crockett Birthplace State Park as well Roan Mountain State Park and have dealt with various topics covered by knowledgable and well known speakers brought in from all around the world to provide new and interesting perspectives on a variety of UFO and Paranormal related subject matter.

According to the Appalachian GhostWalks, US UFO Center, and ARC Staff, these public awareness gatherings are always a great way to meet new friends where each attendee may gain new insights and perspectives in the camaraderie with other attendees in this very unique venue.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a picnic basket and enjoy the day with some very interesting commentary about intriguing subjects pertaining to the past, present, and future of Humanity. Drink machines are available at the park, if needed. Intoxicating beverages are prohibited in order to create an atomosphere where everyone may enjoy an educational, edifying, and enlightening experience.

Warriors Path State Park offers a wide range of activities and amenities for conference goers before and after the conference. These include a water slide, camping, hiking, horseback riding, paddle boating, and more. Please visit the Warriors Path State Park website or click on the in-line text link found on the conference registration page of the ARC, US UFO Center, and Appalachian GhostWalks website.

In addition, Appalachian GhostWalks would like to invite everyone to come and see what's new for 2012. Our "Haunted Historic Jonesborough GhostWalk" features a brand new tour departure point with their new partner, "The Crazy Cupcake", located at 135 East Main Street in Jonesborough. Here, visitors will now find "The Afterlife Cafe" where guests can browse a few of the best ghost photographs and unexplained light phenomena taken during tour production of the Jonesborough GhostWalks, Abingdon GhostWalks, and Gatlinburg GhostWalks. Guests may enjoy discussion about personal experiences as you enjoy a gourmet baked good, or light snack as well as a great cup of coffee that's, as they say, "just to die for".

Appalachian GhostWalks offers some great family vacations as well as "stay-cations" local residents and conference goers. Attendees of the 2012 Prophecies and Predictions Conference may combine one, or more of their lantern-led East Tennessee ghost and history tours, including the very popular "Cherokee Bigfoot Adventure Tour" - a first of its kind anywhere in the world.

Once again, although the 2012 Prophecies and Predictions Conference is free to attend, all hopefuls must RSVP by 10 AM on Saturday morning, June the 9th of 2012 due entirely to limited seating arrangements at the venue. Registrations to attend the event are accepted online, or by telephone. The conference registration form can be found on the Appalachian GhostWalks website at AppalachianGhostWalks.com.
