The Kraze is a 24-hour health club located in Winston-Salem, NC. The club is pleased to announce the program list and enrollment information for their 2012 summer camp. Five-day camps start on June 11 and run through August 10, 2012, and are open to all children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
The summer camp programs at the craze are designed for parents who want to help their kids remain active throughout the summer months. The camp offers a variety of programs for both members and visitors in half-day and full-day schedules. The half days run from 9 AM until 12 Noon, while the full days last from 8 AM to 5 PM. There is also a "Lunch Blast" schedule available with programs running from 10 AM to 2 PM.
The nine-week summer camp program at The Kraze offers a wide selection of activities for children to enjoy. These activities are all part of what The Kraze calls the "10 principles of fitness." These principles are agility, speed, strength, stamina, flexibility, coordination, balance, power, reaction, and fortitude. By focusing on these principles, The Kraze intends for children to have an enjoyable time while getting the exercise they need.
Some of the available activities taking place during the summer camp are swimming, rock climbing, and obstacle courses. Kids will also be able to take part in martial arts programs available at The Kraze. To instill healthy habits in children, camp leaders lecture on nutritional and fitness education. The summer camp experience also includes field trips.
The Kraze summer camp is designed to provide children with new friendships, plenty of healthy exercise, and, of course, a whole lot of fun. Signups are open now for the nine-week camp. Visit The Kraze online for more information.
