DarkSyde Gloves are the first winter gloves that use botanical oils in the liner to nourish hands while they protect. DarkSyde is looking to skiers, snowboarders and winter enthusiasts for support to bring their gloves to market via IndieGoGo.
“DarkSyders” are comfortable, protective gloves and mittens that can be worn while working or playing in environments where it’s necessary to defend skin in order to stay healthy. Whether running, biking, skiing, snowboarding, or even riding on public transportation, walking to a car in the snow, or shoveling a driveway, there are many situations where harsh conditions can damage skin.
DarkSyde gloves have essential oils fused right into the inner liner. These oils help keep hands soft and healthy. They also have conductive fingertips that allow use of smartphones and other touch screen devices without removing the gloves. DarkSyde gloves are available in 5 sizes and 4 styles to fit any hand, mood, or terrain. Simply replace old winter gloves with a stylish pair of DarkSyders.
“As a ski lift operator at Telluride Ski Resort, I know what exposure to harsh wind and cold weather does to hands. It sucks. I want to change that,” says Brittany Keller, the inventor. A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Brittany is using her experience in product development and cold weather (she grew up in Pittsburgh, PA) to make DarkSyde gloves the best winter gloves ever.
DarkSyde is offering one of the first pairs of gloves for contributors who give at least $50 or more to their IndieGoGo campaign. A pledge of $75 or more give contributors one of the first pairs of gloves, an exclusive tee and DarkSyde stickers. Additional pledges include:
