Award-winning radiation safety firm Dade Moeller has joined the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD) as a corporate member and will be exhibiting as a Corporate Sponsor at the Association’s 37th Annual Meeting at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta on June 10-12. The company’s membership in AAMD advances its current strategic diversification into the growing field of medical physics.

AAMD is the professional society for Medical Dosimetrists – specialized members of medical teams who work in radiation oncology departments in hospitals and clinics. A Medical Dosimetrist designs treatment plans for patients based on the radiation dose prescription written by the physician. Medical Dosimetrists work closely with Medical Physicists in setting up radiation dose criteria to provide high quality patient treatments for external beam therapy and brachytherapy.
