In his new book “Heart-key and the Morph Scroll” (published by WestBow Press) – a Christian allegory in the same tradition as John Bunyan’s “The Pilgrim’s Progress” – Andrew J. Price describes, using an allegorical fantasy world, how one man’s spiritual life is cultivated and matured.

A young man named Rennis gets an unexpected knock on his cottage door, and an unsettling warning of impending danger that will change his life. He is invited on a quest, and he sets out on an amazing journey. Mystical lands, a mysterious palace and a malicious dragon all lie ahead of him as he adventures down a transformational life path. Many challenges must be overcome along the way.

Every fantastic twist along the way of the journey readers take with Rennis is a symbolic representation of a Christian life. Price aims to show readers that, in spite of humanity’s flaws, it is possible to live a vibrant, purposeful life with God. He says his book, while entertaining, also serves an instructive purpose, teaching readers valuable lessons for living a successful Christian life.

“There are tremendous discoveries we can make about the Lord and ourselves along life’s way; epic battles that can be won and enemies that can be vanquished,” says Price. “But only as we stay near the heart of Christ can that life be enjoyed as the adventure it is meant to be.”
