Intuit Launches More Powerful Version of QuickBooks for Britain’s Growing Businesses

Intuit now enables U.K. businesses to grow more easily with the launch of a more powerful version of its QuickBooks accounting software, which has been designed specifically for growing businesses who are managing more complexity.

QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions is the latest addition to the QuickBooks product suite and helps growing and established companies manage their increasingly complex business finances and payroll. For Intuit, which has historically focused on serving the needs of small businesses in the U.K., this launch is the first time the company has introduced an offering in this market for larger and more complex businesses.

In addition to the easy-to-use interface that has made QuickBooks the choice of more than 4.5 million small businesses globally, QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions offers the following benefits:

•     Track up to a million customers, suppliers and items. With room for up to a million names and items, growing companies don’t have to worry about running out of space for their records.
•     Multi user access for improved productivity. Up to 30 people can work on the same company file at the same time – ideal for busy finance or sales teams.
•     Advanced user permission controls. Businesses can have finer control over which areas and functions their users can access, protecting sensitive data or important business information. Users can even be allowed or denied access to a particular bank account.
•     Advanced data analysis and sharing for better decision making. The software allows users to generate automated and customizable reports and analyze and share data by exporting reports to Microsoft Excel, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Access and other ODBC compliant applications.
•     Work with many company files. Users can open and manage any number of company files, at no extra cost.
•     Multi-company consolidation. Users can generate multi-company reports for over-arching visibility across multiple companies, or a business split into different divisions.
•     Spend less time on payroll and organise employee data. QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions includes everything a business needs to run payroll in-house and file returns online with HMRC.
•     Unlimited support and upgrades. With unlimited telephone support (8am to 8pm GMT, Monday To Friday, excluding Bank Holidays) and future updates included, businesses have the expert help they need and are on the latest version of the software.
