Pico Computing Inc., today announced the appointment of Jaime Cummins as Chief Executive Officer. Cummins has also been appointed to the company’s Board of Directors.
Cummins will be replacing Dr. Robert Trout, who will step down as CEO, but will remain as Chairman of the company’s Board of Directors.
“Utilizing his knowledge and expertise in the technology industry, Jaime will be a tremendous asset to our company. We feel very lucky to have him onboard to lead Pico,” said Dr. Robert Trout.
Prior to joining Pico, Cummins was the founder and CEO of Edison Labs, an independent R&D firm, which worked with several large corporate technology clients. He was previously the founder and CEO of two start-up Semiconductor Companies and was in senior management positions at Xilinx and Apple. Having worked for many of the industry leaders, Cummins has built an impressive track record by leading these companies to success.
With his ability to identify and understand what appeals to the market, Cummins will aid Pico as it begins to develop new opportunities by using unique and innovative strategies within the FPGA industry.
