In 2011,Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill sealed their victory with one of their amazing signature dishes. On June 9, 2012, Ling & Louie’s returns to the ring to defend its ALS Bite Nite title.

Bite Nite is The ALS Association of Arizona’s culinary event benefiting the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease. It pits the Valley’s hottest and most respected culinary establishments against each other for the title of “Bite Nite Heavyweight Champion”. The evening features tasting-size samples of delightful morsels in four categories: appetizers, entrées, desserts and specialty drinks. Bite Nite also features mystery boxes as well as silent and live auctions.

Commenting on the event, John Banquil, Regional General Manger for Ling & Louie’s, stated:

“Last year, our team of customer service champions all contributed to delivering the knock-out punch. Our ace in the hole was one of our signature dishes, The Evil Jungle Princess. Of course we can’t reveal our strategy for this year, but we’re really looking forward to defending our title at this great event.”

This year, Ling & Louie’s will be competing against a large field of restaurants including The Capital Grille, Season’s 52, 5th and Wine, and Cholla Steakhouse.

All of the festivities are in support of The ALS Association, the only national not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS. The Association covers all bases including research, patient, family and community services, public education and advocacy. Their goal is to provide help and hope to people facing and living with Lou Gehrig’s disease.

Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar and Grill (http://www.lingandlouies.com) will be participating in Bite Nite on Saturday, June 9, 2012 when hungry ALS supporters will be heading to Arizona Biltmore. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail social before proceeding to the culinary main event featuring signature appetizers, entrées, desserts and specialty drinks with local chefs duking it out against Ling & Louie’s in a quest to be named “Bite Nite Heavyweight Champion”. Three-hundred guests are expected at this year’s sold out event.
