June 12, 2012 - Trek Connect Inc., a designer and manufacturer of custom cable and wire harness assemblies for the defense and aerospace industry, officially announced the company’s successful transition from SAE AS9100B to the revised SAE AS9100C Aerospace Quality Standard. Trek Connect’s quality management system has now been certified by SAI Global International to meet the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 plus SAE AS9100C.

SAE AS9100C is the international standard specifying the requirements for the quality management system of a designer/manufacturer to aviation, space, and defense industry customers, to insure that products meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
The revised standard SAE AS9100C emphasizes continuous improvement and includes important new requirements for aerospace and defense manufacturers that build on the foundation of ISO 9001:2008. Key elements for Trek Connect include risk mitigation, project management, counterfeit product prevention, organizational performance and insuring the effectiveness of all of Trek Connect customer service, design and assembly processes. Additionally, Trek Connect’s registration to SAE AS9100C is recorded in the IAQG OASIS database.
