A special manufacturing (and service) workshop will be offered July 11, 2012 at the Monarch Inn in Clackamas, Oregon. 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Oregon based manufacturing and business consultant, award winning author and trainer Gary Conner will share project case studies from 150 companies he has worked with over the past twenty years.
This event is being co-sponsored by the Portland Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
This is not an advertising or marketing event. It is an information sharing event.
Case studies, stories and videos from some of the 500 kaizen (Japanese word for continuous improvement) events will clearly demonstrate tools and techniques used by companies to thrive regardless of economic conditions.
Participants will receive information about how foreign and domestic competitors have gained marketable advantages through performance improvement techniques collectively referred to as Lean Thinking.
To ensure comfortable participation, attendance is being limited to three people from any one organization.
A $50 contribution (to offset food and room rental) per participant is suggested, but no one will be turned away if they choose not to contribute.
Registration is required (phone, email or website).
Participants may contribute at the event or choose to be invoiced after the event.
