InventHelp®, America’s largest invention submission company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Australia, has designed a modified comforter that could stay in place on the bed, which would prevent it from shifting during the night and leaving a sleepers’ feet uncovered. This invention is patented.

“comFITA” comforter would include a sleeve sewn into the underside of the foot end that would fit snugly over the end of the mattress. This feature would allow the comforter to remain firmly in place on the bed. Additionally, the bed could be made more easily with comFITA.

comFITA would be similar in appearance to a conventional comforter, but it would include a sewn-on sleeve on the underside of the foot end. The sleeve would feature an elasticized opening, which would allow it to fit snugly over the foot of the mattress. The sleeve would be as wide as the mattress and measure approximately 12 inches deep. The comFITA would be fitted to the bed in a two-step process. First, a user would lay the comFITA on the bed as normal. The comFITA sleeve would slide underneath the mattress by stretching the elastic seam to the size of the mattress. Second, a user would slide the comFITA sleeve firmly under the mattress to prevent any possible movement of the comforter.

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor. For more information, telephone Dept. 09-MLB-486 at (800) 851-6030.
