The GROM-USB2-MAZ8 media interface is the simple way to integrate an Android Smartphone, USB stick or hard drive, iPod or iPhone, or other device utilizing USB, Bluetooth, or audio line out, into a factory audio system, enabling playback and control through the radio or steering wheel controls. Adapters plug into the unit’s two mini-DIN ports and are required to connect most devices. The system comes with a 2GB USB flash drive that plugs directly into the USB 2.0 port. Users can also insert their own USB storage media and play music through the factory system.

“An average person drives one and a half hour a day,” said Dmitry Borisov, Company CEO. “With GROM Smartphone and USB car integration systems we help people to enjoy the time they spend in the car, and make it more productive.”

The GROM-USB2-MAZ8 features built-in integration with Android-powered smartphones through its USB 2.0 connection, without additional adapters. Access music and charge the phone simultaneously while controlling playback through the vehicle’s factory controls. GROM Audio Android car app AALinQ is required. It is available for free download at Google Play Market.

GROM Bluetooth add-on dongle (sold separately for $49.99) provides playback from, and control of, a Bluetooth-enabled portable device. In addition with GROM Bluetooth Dongle the driver can use his phone for hands free calling (HFP).
