The forum examines key diversity issues in both the U.S. and Asia, and how cultural competency is a critical, foundational skill for innovation and growth. The event includes a U.S.-focused track that explores Asian Americans in the talent and consumer marketplace, as well as a Global Asian track that looks at how the competition for talent affects Asians and companies in Asia.
In addition to the plenaries and workshops that will explore various aspects of the Asian Pacific American (APA) workplace experience, Asia Society will also unveil the latest findings from its third annual Asian Pacific Americans Corporate Survey. The survey of employees from Fortune 500 and other large companies exclusively measures the corporate success of Asian Pacific Americans and explores how companies can create a supportive workplace that is conducive to growth of both their business and their employees’ leadership capabilities.
