General Motors’ Yearly All American Car Show & Auto Expo Will Host The Made In America Store For The Second Year

The United Auto Workers Union and General Motors have come together to bring a yearly car show in Western New York. Saturday, June 16th, from 9am to 4pm, the car show is open to the public and the event will have vendor tents, including the Made In America Store.

The Made In America Store is invited for the second year in a row to participate as a vendor at the UAW-General Motors’ “All American Car Show & Auto Expo 2012”. The event that emphasizes heavily on American made cars and a vintage American lifestyle fits in perfectly with the persona the Made In America Store has.

The United Auto Workers Union and General Motors’ “All American Car Show & Auto Expo 2012” is a public-open auto show and an employee appreciation event. The event allows participants to bring their American cars to show off along with General Motors’ lineup from 2012 and new 2013 models.

The “All American Car Show & Auto Expo 2012” will take place regardless of weather, rain or shine, the show will go on. The event will have UAW and GM employees build and engine piece by piece right before the audience’s eyes. The event will also host a Chicken Wing Eating Contest to see who can eat the most chicken wings. For the first 300 individuals that register their American made vehicles, they will receive a commemorative dash plaque. There will be plenty of food vendors throughout the event, serving hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken wings, roast beef sandwiches and pizza. Live music will be supplied by a DJ playing classic rock music, and there will be a bounce house for the children.

The Made In America Store carries vintage tin signs with the General Motors and brands of General Motors within their store. The paraphernalia shows images of classic, American cars from the 40’s, 50’s and so on.

People who wish to participate in the United Auto Workers and General Motors All American Car Show & Auto Expo can see the show at GM Tonawanda Engine Plant located at 2995 River Road in Buffalo, New York. The event starts Saturday, June 16th, at 9am to 4pm.
