Nashville, Tenn. (PRWEB) June 11, 2012
Every summer parents are looking for unique and exciting ways to keep their kids active while learning valuable life skills. In response to high numbers of eager and youthful athletes, Nashville Soccer United (NSU) has announced tryouts for their youth soccer club will continue throughout the summer. Children and parents residing in the Nashville area are encouraged to attend soccer tryouts any Saturday at 9 a.m. Summer soccer tryouts help determine teams for the upcoming Fall season by dividing children into groups depending on skill level and experience. The Fall youth soccer season begins August and will run through October.
After an unprecedented turnout for initial Fall season tryouts NSU has decided to extend the soccer tryouts for the remainder of the summer. Local interest in the league has surged forward over a short period of time and NSU has realized a need to match that rapid growth. The Nashville youth soccer club has also recognized a need for additional facilities to meet the added demands. The league is actively seeking more field space to host games and tryouts. The needed expansion will open up the NSU community to a wider geographic area, reaching more neighborhoods, which will result in more soccer teams for more kids.
Nashville Soccer United is open to all children residing in the urban areas around Nashville. The soccer club seeks to reach those who might not have easy access to the suburban community soccer organizations. Founded and managed by parents, NSU is a non-profit association that places emphasis on getting children involved in community, learning teamwork and staying healthy through sports.
